During the third quarter of 2024, the performance of the leading carpooling and ridesharing apps on iOS in Switzerland demonstrated interesting trends in terms of downloads and weekly active users, as reported by Sensor Tower.

The Uber - Request a ride app maintained a consistent presence, with downloads showing a noticeable increase towards the end of the quarter. Starting at approximately 5K in early July, downloads rose steadily, reaching over 9.1K by the end of September. The weekly active users also saw a gradual increase from around 199K to over 202K, peaking at 210K in the last week of September.

Bolt: Request a Ride exhibited a fluctuating trend in downloads, beginning at around 5.6K in early July and dipping to a low of 4.4K in mid-September, before slightly rising again. Active users mirrored this pattern, starting at 12K and experiencing a peak of 14.5K in mid-July, before stabilizing around 12.7K at the end of the quarter.
